Sara is a movement director and choreographer working across theatre, film and dance.

 

She’s worked on projects for Radiohead, London Fashion Week, the Old Vic and RSC; and received choreography commissions for Manchester International Festival, Electrowerkz and Corsica Studios. 

 

Sara has had extensive experience in a variety of settings, regularly collaborating with artists to bringing movement and dance to the forefront of other art forms.

 

Her work BURNT OUT premiered at the Place, London and is currently in development at the Lowry, Manchester. 

 

Sara is supported by Jerwood Foundation in 2020 to develop new dance work in collaboration with technologist Jo Portus interrogating surveillance and identity construction. 

 

She is a long time collaborator with Low Island and an associate artist of Empty Deck Theatre [nominated for a Peter Brook Award].

 

Sara trained at Laban and has since taught movement at ALRA, East 15, Mountview and Rose Bruford.

She is currently training with IDI [Intimacy Directors International] to become an Intimacy Director & Coordinator for stage and screen.
